IDAHOBIT 2021
31 years ago, on 17 May 1990, the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.
International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally, and raises awareness for the work still needed to combat discrimination.
The Respectful Relationships Unit will be hosting a panel event this Friday 21 May with experts and advocates from different fields to reflect on the hot button policy and social issues facing LGBTIQA+ communities in a post marriage equality Australia and in the midst of a global pandemic.
