About the ANU Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership
The ANU Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership was established by the Australian ¾«¶«´«Ã½app University in January 2020. CAAL aims to research and provide solutions to tackle the ‘bamboo ceiling’ in Australia and address the significant under-representation of Asian-Australians in leadership positions within Australian public institutions and major private sector corporations.
CAAL's vision is for leadership in Australia to be more inclusive, authentic and representative with being Asian-Australian no longer a barrier to holding a senior leadership position. CAAL's purpose is to increase Asian-Australian representation in leadership positions by levelling the playing field and making the case for removing systemic and institutional barriers that presently exist.
