Educational Fellowship Scheme

The ANU Educational Fellowship Scheme (EFS) offers academic and professional staff internationally-endorsed professional recognition as university educators through fellowships. ANU was the first university outside the United Kingdom to become a global partner with HEA, and through the EFS fellowships offers worldwide recognition of experience and expertise in university teaching and supporting learning.

Dr Chris Browne SFHEA, DVCA

As a systems engineer and teacher, Chris Browne's classes are centred around the innovative jigsaw classroom approach.  Systems engineering is an inter-specialist engineering discipline that integrates traditional engineering specialisations and Chris has created a classroom environment that provides a coherent second-year systems experience for students before they go on to specialise in鈥�

Nithiwadee (Wan) Chitravas SFHEA, SIS

鈥疻an graduated with a Bachelor in Teacher Librarianship and Masters (Honours) in Library and Information Science, at Khon Kaen University. Since 1997 Wan has worked as a lecturer and researcher at various universities, including as Assistant Professor (Information Studies) at Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand.鈥疘n Wan's current role as Information Access Coordinator, one of her core鈥�

Professor Paul Francis SFHEA, CoS

Paul is an astrophysicist, who focussed his research on galaxies and black holes in the early universe, before catching a bad case of the teaching bug. Since then, he has focussed on teaching large classes, both in-person and online. He is infamous amongst his students for talking much too fast in an incomprehensible pommie accent, and for his dubious taste in waistcoats.He has been involved in鈥�

Professor Michael Martin PFHEA, CBE

Michael Martin is Professor of Statistics in the School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics at the Australian 精东传媒app University. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from the University of Queensland (1986) and a PhD in Statistics from the ANU (1989). He was Assistant Professor in Statistics at Stanford University, USA, from 1989 to 1994 and Annenberg Distinguished Assistant鈥�
